I am currently researching the influence of electrocardiogram artifacts in electromyogram recordings with human participants.

In the past, I worked with the crayfish (procambarus clarkii) and the fruit fly (drosophila melanogaster) models in the Dept. of Biology at the University of Kentucky.

In the crayfish model, I worked on the levator muscle and examining the innervation of muscle during muscle atrophy and regrowth. In the fruit fly model, I examined the circadian patterns and learning behaviors.
