A tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor

Applications are invited for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2010. This position will build upon the Department's successful collaborations with the Biological Sciences. It is a nine month appointment and is fully funded. Faculty may seek summer employment through grants and contracts or summer school for amounts up to 3/9 of the academic year salary. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a nationally competitive research program involving collaboration with the Biological Sciences. Faculty having significant grant support may request a reduced teaching load. Course releases are also negotiable as part of a start-up package.

The Department of Statistics has 18 faculty members and offers both the M.S. and Ph.D. in Statistics. Both masters and doctoral students can choose tracks in Biostatistics.
