Division of French & Italian

Courses

The French major is designed to broaden and deepen the student's acquaintance with the French-speaking world through the medium of its language and literature. In order to meet the special needs and interests of the majors, the program consists of a Major Core plus two options: Option I is a language-oriented major, while Option II is a literature-oriented major. The Major Core consists of 12 hours of coursework; each Option consists of 9 hours.

All courses are taught in French unless otherwise indicated.
