These www pages and movies are designed to help Kentucky high schools and colleges to teach physiology experimentation using a prawn model.

These animals can be obtained for free from the KY State Aquaculture Facility in Frankfort, KY. They can be raised in your classroom and used for teaching fundamental physiological principles. They can be obtained as juveniles or as adults.

Many physiology labs use the crayfish model for teaching . Here I developed the prawn model after the crayfish model keeping in mind differences in behavior and physiology.
